Production Manager

Nter Talent is partnering with an established food manufacturer to recruit a hands‑on Production Manager for its Corwen site.

This is an opportunity to take real ownership of the production function, lead a team of 22 employees and make a visible impact across output, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for creating and managing the site’s production and staffing plan, ensuring customer demand is met safely, on time and within budget.

• Leading, motivating and developing a team of 22 production employees.
• Managing production plans, staffing levels and resource allocation.
• Using SAP to manage production requirements and schedules.
• Monitoring output, efficiency, labour, waste, downtime and quality.
• Ensuring finished goods are produced safely, accurately and on time.
• Driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Managing departmental costs and performance against budget.
• Working closely with Engineering, Technical, Warehouse, HR and Finance.
• Responding to machinery downtime, staffing shortages and quality issues.
• Producing accurate production reports for senior management.

• Production management experience within food or FMCG manufacturing.
• Experience leading and developing a production team.
• Strong production, staffing and resource‑planning experience.
• SAP or similar production‑planning system experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality systems and operational KPIs.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• A practical, hands‑on and team‑focused management style.
• The ability to make confident decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

This could suit an established Production Manager looking for more ownership or a strong Senior Shift Manager ready to take the next step.

Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Additional hours may occasionally be required.
