Job Title: Machine Operator – Double Days

Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: £24,864

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm

• Operate production machinery in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards and safety requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and carry out routine checks to identify and resolve issues to minimise downtime.
• Assist with changeovers and line adjustments as required, ensuring smooth production flow.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP and other relevant food safety practices; report deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work area and sustain 5S principles.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Previous Machine Operator or Production Operator experience within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working within the UK food manufacturing sector.
• Experience resolving machine stoppages and minimising downtime.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement practices within manufacturing.
