Are you an experienced Motorsport Technician with a passion for precision engineering and high-performance vehicles? ASL Technical is recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned motor sport manufacturer for an exciting opportunity within their race car production team. This is your chance to work on the build of cutting-edge GT racing cars in a fast-paced, professional motor sport environment. The Role Working within the Sub Assembly department, you will be responsible for building high-quality mechanical assemblies that will be installed onto brand-new GT3 and GT4 race cars during final vehicle build.
This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, quality, and build accuracy are essential. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical sub-assemblies to exact engineering specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and build documentation.
- Ensure all components are assembled to the highest quality standards.
- Carry out inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet build schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Previous experience as a Motorsport Technician, Vehicle Build Technician, Race Technician, or Mechanical Assembly Technician.
- Experience working within motor sport, high-performance automotive, or low-volume vehicle manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent mechanical assembly skills and strong attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Up to £22.50 per hour
- 6-month contract with an industry-leading motor sport manufacturer.
