Laundry Assistant

New Resource Recruitment are currently recruiting Laundry Operatives on behalf of our well‑established client based in Stalbridge.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy commercial laundry operation where you’ll become part of a hardworking team. The role offers full‑time hours, ongoing work and full training, making it suitable for both experienced candidates and those looking to learn new skills.

As a Laundry Operative, your duties may include:

• Sorting and preparing laundry items for processing.
• Loading and unloading industrial washing and drying machines.
• Folding, packing and preparing clean linen for dispatch.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.

We’re looking for reliable, enthusiastic candidates who:

• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Can work in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Are reliable with good time‑keeping.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Have a basic understanding of English, including reading and writing.

Previous experience in a production, warehouse or laundry environment is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Please note:

Due to the location of the site, applicants must have their own transport or live within walking distance.

Full‑time hours are available on a rotating basis between Monday and Saturday. Overtime may also be available.
