We are looking for a focused, hands‑on Harness Production Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The role is dedicated to the physical assembly and meticulous tracking of wiring harnesses. While the assemblies are straightforward, they require high consistency, excellent manual dexterity, and a candidate who is comfortable using IT systems to log work, track inventory, and follow digital build instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Manual Assembly: Perform end‑to‑end wiring harness production, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and routing wires according to spec.
- Component Tracking: Use internal IT systems/databases to scan parts, log completed steps, and maintain 100% traceability of materials used.
- Soldering & Termination: Execute clean, reliable solder joints and terminal attachments using hand tools and benchtop equipment.
- Digital Documentation: Access and interpret digital work instructions, blueprints, and BOMs via tablet or workstation.
- Inventory Management: Update stock levels digitally as components are consumed to ensure production remains on schedule.
- Proven Hands‑on
Experience:
Previous experience in harness manufacturing or a closely related electrical assembly field is required. - Mechanical Aptitude: High proficiency with hand tools (crimpers, wire strippers, heat guns, and testers).
- Detail Oriented: A "measure twice, cut once" mindset. You notice when a wire gauge looks off or a label is missing.
- Efficiency: Ability to maintain a steady production pace without sacrificing the quality of the build.
