Production Operative

Location: Berinsfield, Oxfordshire
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm

Interaction Recruitment are looking for a motivated and hands‑on Production Operative to join our client’s busy manufacturing team based in Berinsfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing or engineering who takes pride in producing high‑quality work and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

The Role

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a key role in preparing moulded components and supporting the manufacturing process to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.

  • Prepare moulded components for assembly and finishing.
  • Assist with the assembly, bonding, and finishing of manufactured products.
  • Carry out cutting, grinding, and flow coating activities.
  • Produce sub‑assemblies as required to support production.
  • Work to high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
  • Support colleagues and assist with training new team members where required.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support the production team.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment.
  • At least two years' practical experience in a similar role, or an Engineering BTEC (or equivalent) with relevant industry experience.
  • Experience using hand tools and workshop power tools.
  • A practical, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic.
