Mig Welder

Whaley Bridge
Up to £16.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Mig Welder for our client based in Whaley Bridge. This is a full time position paying up to £16.50 per hour, which will rise in relation to training and time served. Hours rotate - week 1 06.00 - 14.00 - Monday to Friday, week 2 14.00 - 00.00 - only working Monday to Thursday.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out MIG welding tasks to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times
- Perform fabrication welding work in line with business requirements
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications where required
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards, tolerances, and inspection criteria
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with H&S procedures
- Proven experience working as a MIG Welder
- Strong background in heavy fabrication welding
- Ability to work rotating shifts / shift patterns (if applicable)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team
