Labourer, Manufacturing ​/ Production, Material Handler

Location: S25, Sheffield
Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in S25, Sheffield, is looking to recruit a General Labourer to join their Metal Preparation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or metalworking environment who is looking for a stable, full-time role with immediate starts available.

Working as part of the production team, your duties may include:

• Preparing metal components for production and finishing processes
• Cleaning, grinding, sanding and deburring metal parts
• Loading and unloading materials safely
• Assisting fabricators, welders and machine operators where required
• Carrying out basic quality checks on finished components
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
• Following all health and safety procedures

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or metal preparation environment
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance
• Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
• Good attention to detail
• Must be able to reliably commute to the S25 Sheffield location

• 12.71 per hour
• Monday to Friday working hours - no weekends
• Immediate start available
