Pay: £17.92 per hour + shift allowance after 6 months
The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a busy manufacturing environment in the YO26 area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and maintaining a high standard of accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.
First 6 Months- Monday to Thursday
- 7:00am - 5:30pm
- £16-£18 per hour
- Training and integration into the business
Following the initial 6-month period, you will move onto one of the following shift patterns:
- Option 1 - 4 on / 4 off Days
- Day shift
- £17.92 per hour
- £35 shift allowance
- Option 2 - Monday to Thursday Nights
- Night shift
- £17.92 per hour
- £50 shift allowance
- Operating and setting CNC milling machines
- Working with Fanuc, Daytron and Mazak machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out quality checks and measurements
- Tool changes and machine adjustments
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Meeting production and quality targets
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller
- Experience with CNC milling machinery
- Ideally experienced with Fanuc, Daytron and/or Mazak controls
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Good understanding of machining tolerances
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
