Yard Operative Northampton People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our well-established client based in Rushden, Northampton. This is a temporary opportunity for the right candidate, with immediate starts available. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Yard Worker , Yard Labourer or Logistics Yard Operative. Shifts 5 days out of 7 (flexible) 10 or 12 Hour Shifts (06:00-18:00 or 07:00-17:00) Rates of Pay: £13.00 per hour Benefits Immediate start Easy access by public transport Free parking Ongoing work with permanent opportunities Day-to-Day Duties Receiving and unpacking all sorts of food products, including raw meat Jet washing using a pressure washer Saturday and Sunday to clean vehicles Moving goods within the warehouse Receiving and unpacking all sorts of food products, including raw meat Reworking & repackaging food items Adhering to Health & Safety at all times and promoting a safe working environment Reporting any safety concerns or issues to Management Clearing and cleaning work areas of any waste and keeping routes clear of obstructions Other duties as assigned Essential Skills Must have full RTW documents You must be prepared to work with raw meat and all other food products Punctuality and good time-keeping skills Strong teamwork skills Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to deadlines

Desirable Experience Previous experience working in a yard or labouring environment Training Provided Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout Apply:
