This Production Planner opportunity is built around maintaining detailed production schedules in line with sales and operational forecasts. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.
What the work leans onWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Production Planner to join their manufacturing team. This is a key role responsible for creating and maintaining efficient production schedules based on sales forecasts, stock levels, and customer orders.
Where the technical work sits- Maintain detailed production schedules in line with sales and operational forecasts.
- Coordinating with procurement, stock control, and production teams to ensure material availability.
- Monitoring production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MRP/ERP systems.
- Shift pattern:
Weekends. - Additional detail:
Flexible working options may be available.
- Driving licence
