Location: Rainham and Wennington

SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and Yasa. We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead a segment of our production operations within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven leader with a strong background in machining and precision manufacturing to oversee production performance, develop high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement across the operation. Responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved Motivating and mentoring team members Supporting quality improvements or containment activities Having an active role in the companys continuous improvement plan to enable future growth of the business Tracking and reporting on KPIs for area of responsibility, maintaining visual management boards and making improvement recommendations based on data

Required Skills:

Experience in a supervisory or managerial role gained within a manufacturing environment (Ideally within the Automotive Industry) Strong background in machining, including CNC machining, precision engineering, or metal cutting processes. Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of managing, encouraging, and developing teams An understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles within a busy manufacturing environment Work pattern:
Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5pm, Friday 8.30am 2.30pm;
After successfully passing probation, you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9 day fortnight.
