Drop Forge Stamper
£15.50 per hour | Average FTE earnings £17.50–£18.00 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Drop Forge Stamper to join a busy manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating drop forging and stamping machinery to produce high-quality metal components to precise specifications. This is a physically demanding role suited to someone with previous experience in drop forging, forging, stamping or a similar manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating drop forging and stamping machinery.
* Shaping heated metal components using dies.
* Ensuring products meet required quality and specification standards.
* Carrying out basic machinery maintenance and reporting faults.
* Following all health and safety procedures.
* Working as part of a team to achieve production targets.
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.
* Ensuring consistent levels of productivity, accuracy and quality.
About You
* Previous experience in drop forging, forging, stamping or a similar manufacturing role.
* Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
* Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
* Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
* Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Willing to learn and develop within the role.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday, 7:00am–4:00pm
Additional Friday hours may be available depending on production requirements.
Pay & Benefits
* £15.50 per hour initially.
* Once established as an FTE, the role moves onto piecework earnings.
* Average FTE earnings of £17.50–£18.00 per hour, depending on the manufacturing unit and individual output.
* Regular rate reviews as your skills and experience develop.
* Skills are reviewed and rewarded with opportunities to increase earning potential.
* Additional hours available on Fridays.
