Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Days | 40 Hours per Week

Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance, repair, and modification of injection moulding tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve tooling issues both within the toolroom and on the production floor.
  • Work on hot runner systems and support production performance.
  • Operate manual centre lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and universal grinding equipment.
  • Conduct precision machining to maintain tooling to the highest quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement activities to enhance tool performance and reliability.
  • Manage workload effectively and proactively undertake planned tooling activities during quieter production periods.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Toolmaker within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of injection mould tooling, repair, and maintenance techniques.
  • Fully competent in manual machining disciplines including turning, milling, surface grinding, and universal grinding.
  • Experience working with hot runner systems.
  • Ability to fault-find and diagnose tooling issues on the shop floor.
  • Recognised Toolmaking Apprenticeship and relevant engineering qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
