We are partnering with a highly respected, large global manufacturer to find dedicated professionals ready to make an immediate impact and drive production success. We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of our client. This is a full time position, operating on a night shift pattern for a duration of 6 months.
JobDetails & Compensation
The shift pattern runs from Monday to Thursday, 20:30 - 07:00 am.
Shift workers receive three breaks: two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute break.
The position is based entirely onsite in Perth, Scotland.
The hourly pay rate is £13.46 (£18.17 with shift allowance)
Overtime opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities- You must establish and maintain the standards on your shift for safety, quality, appearance, and attendance/cover.
- A core duty is to assist in the training and qualification of your team to operate, maintain, changeover, and troubleshoot equipment.
- You will set daily direction in your operating areas through the effective use of tier meetings and handovers.
- You are expected to lead the troubleshooting of open barriers to find the root-cause.
- You will take accountability for the results and the decisions made in your operating areas during your shift.
- You must demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn technical skills.
- Top skills required for this role include attention to details, good attendance, and being a strong team player.
- You must be able to communicate effectively within and between teams.
Pre and post shift activities, such as gowning up or down, are required.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and will be provided by the large global manufacturer.
