We're looking for a Production Group Leader to join our manufacturing operation and play a key role in delivering operational excellence across the production stream. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams, continuous improvement, and delivering results.

Working within our Operational Excellence (OPEX) framework, you'll lead a cross-functional team to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people objectives while driving a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading and developing a high-performing production team
  • Championing Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards
  • Delivering production targets through effective people and process management

    Driving continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles and OPEX tools
  • Organising and optimising labour to maximise operational efficiency
  • Managing maintenance activities to minimise downtime
  • Supporting and delivering site improvement projects with cross-functional teams
  • Standardising processes and ensuring adherence to established ways of working
  • Using problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
Essential
  • Previous experience managing teams within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and numerical skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience analysing and interpreting production performance data
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practice production techniques
  • Ability to solve problems using structured methodologies
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to perform in a changing environment
Desirable
  • Experience in a similar Production Team Leader or supervisory role
  • Experience standardising processes and implementing operational improvements
  • Knowledge of Operational Excellence (OPEX) systems and methodologies
