We're looking for a Production Group Leader to join our manufacturing operation and play a key role in delivering operational excellence across the production stream. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams, continuous improvement, and delivering results.
Working within our Operational Excellence (OPEX) framework, you'll lead a cross-functional team to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people objectives while driving a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading and developing a high-performing production team
- Championing Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards
- Delivering production targets through effective people and process management
Driving continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles and OPEX tools - Organising and optimising labour to maximise operational efficiency
- Managing maintenance activities to minimise downtime
- Supporting and delivering site improvement projects with cross-functional teams
- Standardising processes and ensuring adherence to established ways of working
- Using problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
- Previous experience managing teams within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent written, verbal and numerical skills
- Fluency in English
- Experience analysing and interpreting production performance data
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practice production techniques
- Ability to solve problems using structured methodologies
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change
- Flexible, adaptable and able to perform in a changing environment
- Experience in a similar Production Team Leader or supervisory role
- Experience standardising processes and implementing operational improvements
- Knowledge of Operational Excellence (OPEX) systems and methodologies
