An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Toolroom/Manual Machinist to join a leading vehicle restoration company based in North Bedfordshire. In return we offer a competitive salary, overtime paid at time & half. 20 Days holiday plus the statutory entitlement.
There is onsite parking & a purpose built workshop enviroment based in a lovely rural location.
Established in 1954, we have grown to become one of the leading worldwide specialist in restoration & maintenance of vintage cars bringing originality & authenticity to each new project.
The toolroom/Manual Machinist will assist with the mechanical restoration of engines, gearboxes, magnetos, dynamos, instruments, electrical switch gear & carburation.
The successful candidate will have the following:- Previous experience working with mechanical engineering
- Turning, machining, precision engineering experience.
- General interest in vintage cars.
- A desire to learn & adapt.
- Professional attitude.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- A clean & organised approach to working
