Job Description:
The Role
We are currently recruiting for Manufacturing / Production Operatives to join a busy tyre manufacturing and warehouse operation based at Prologis Park, Coventry (CV6).
This is a hands-on role involving machine operating and machine minding, as well as the manual handling of tyres and rims throughout the production process.
You will be working as part of a busy team, ensuring machines are operated safely and efficiently and that production targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating and monitoring production machinery
* Loading and unloading tyres and rims onto and off machinery
* Regular manual handling and heavy lifting of tyres and rims
* Checking products for quality and reporting any issues
* Keeping the production and work areas clean and organised
* Following health & safety procedures and safe working practices
* Meeting daily production and quality targets
* Working effectively as part of a team
* Carrying out other general production duties as required
What We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates who:
* Have previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing or machine operating
* Are comfortable with heavy manual handling
* Are physically fit and able to repeatedly lift and move tyres and rims
* Are reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic
* Can follow instructions and work safely
* Have good attention to detail
* Are comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive production environment
Working Hours
Initially, the working hours will be:
Monday to Friday – 08:00–16:00
From late 2026, the operation is expected to move to a 3-shift rotation, covering:
* AM Shift
* PM Shift
* Night Shift
Candidates must therefore be willing and able to move onto a rotating 3-shift pattern when required.
