Production Operative | Weekend Days & Weekday Shifts | £16.50 per hour | £34,338 per annum | Permanent | Manufacturing
Looking for a permanent Production Operative job with a different shift pattern? Join a leading UK supplier of insulation products and enjoy a role combining weekend work with just two weekday shifts.
Pay and Shift Pattern
£14.11 per hour plus 17% shift allowance
£16.50 per hour including shift allowance
Saturday: 6am–6pm + Sunday: 10am–10pm + Two weekday shifts: 6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm
Flexibility required for weekday shifts
The Role
Working as part of a small manufacturing team, you will help operate a multi-stage production line, ensuring products are processed, cut, packed and stored safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operating production machinery and entering specifications via an HMI system.
Adding materials to processing equipment and monitoring production.
Cutting, sawing and packing finished insulation products.
Handling raw materials and storing finished goods.
Following standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
Previous production, manufacturing or machine operating experience.
Experience operating machinery and following procedures.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Physically fit for manual handling duties.
Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
