£33,550 - £38,750 p/a, Days only, Monday to Friday, Friday early finish, Weekly bonus, Xmas bonus, healthcare, Subsidised on-site canteen.
Due to continued growth and increased demand, an excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Welders to join a highly respected global manufacturing business at their facility in the Barnsley area. You'll become part of a skilled production team, working for a successful organisation supplying high-quality products worldwide. Reporting directly to the Production Manager your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities- Carry out MIG and TIG welding and fabrication of mild steel platform components to high company standards.
- Produce clean, accurate butt and fillet welds.
- Operate automated welding equipment following full training.
- Work within dedicated production areas, focusing on specific components and maintaining consistent quality.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, ensuring welds meet the required quality and finish standards.
- Undertake training and practical assessments to ensure you are fully competent and signed off for the role.
- Work safely and accurately on products where weld quality is essential to the integrity and safe operation of the finished equipment.
This role would suit someone with welding experience and who has worked as an Welder, MIG Welder, TIG Welder or Fabricator within an engineering, automotive, manufacturing, or production environment. The successful Welder will have:
Requirements- 2 years minimum industry experience.
- Completed a welding apprenticeship.
- Experience with butt and fillet welds.
This role is easily accessible from the Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham or Sheffield area.
Benefits- Generous salary £33,550 - £38,750 per annum (dependant on bonus)

Mon - Thurs 7:30am - 4:30pm Fri 7:30am - 1:30pm. - Weekly bonus (£50 - £100 extra per week dependant on attendance, quality and production)
