Fabricator Welding

Invicta Storage Systems Limited are seeking a fabricator to manufacture steel frame sections in our Birchington-on-Sea workshop.

• Weld clean, accurate frame sections to the required specification.
• Check completed items for accuracy and quality before they leave the bench.
• Work safely and maintain a tidy, organised workshop area.
• Attend occasional site visits with a manager to measure up and confirm take-offs.

Full training will be provided on our fabrication system and our approach to preparing/marking up drawings.

• Previous workshop fabrication experience, including welding light gauge steel frames.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Confident working both independently and as part of a small team.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to understand drawings and discuss/plan work with the workshop team and Contracts Manager.
• Physically able to handle light gauge steel sections safely in a workshop environment.
