Position: ASSEMBLY OPERATIVES
Location: Eccles

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Assembly Operatives for a manufacturing company based in Eccles, M30
. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience using power tools, hand tools, and reading technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble products and components to specification.
Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings.
Follow assembly instructions and quality standards.
Carry out quality inspections on completed products.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work as part of a team to meet production targets.
Report any defects or production issues to supervisors.

Skills & Experience

Previous assembly/manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to use power tools and hand tools confidently.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Good attention to detail and quality standards.
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Friday: 6:00am - 12:45pm

Pay Rates

£12.71 per hour

Overtime Rates

Overtime paid after 39 hours worked
Monday to Friday & Saturdays: £19.07 per hour
Sundays: £25.42 per hour

Health & Safety Responsibilities

Wear required PPE at all times.
Follow all site health and safety procedures.
Use tools and equipment safely.
Report accidents, hazards, and near misses immediately.
Maintain good housekeeping standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Manual handling and lifting of components.
Working within a busy manufacturing environment.
