Overview
An exciting entry level Marketing opportunity has arisen for a recent Graduate or College leaver within a Marketing discipline or candidates who have already gained some marketing experience as part of a more general office based role, to secure your first full Marketing Assistant role at our Head Office in Alton. Working within our busy Marketing department as part of our wider Operations Department you will assist with a range of marketing tasks.
The role would suit candidates with a Marketing related Degree or A Level qualification who are seeking an all round Marketing Assistant position working for a well established and successful company. We would also consider candidates who have already gained some marketing work experience and are now seeking the next step in their marketing career.
We are a leading manufacturing and technical organisation and can offer job stability and the opportunity to work as part of a busy and professional team of 30 at our Head Office. The Marketing Assistant role will be working Mon to Fri with an early finish on a Friday. We offer contributory pension, death in service, life insurance, free parking and 23 days holiday plus bank holiday with a salary dependant on experience and a salary review after 6 months plus discretionary annual bonus.
Responsibilities- Campaign Execution & Lead Generation
- Support the development and implementation of targeted marketing campaigns to generate high-quality leads.
- Proactively assist in creating and executing local marketing campaigns based on current trends and market conditions.
- Support the adaptation and implementation of global HQ-crafted campaigns for the local market.
- Help build and monitor campaign landing pages and product detail pages (PDPs) to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Utilise the Marketing Automation System to deploy campaigns and track performance.
- Event Coordination
- Take a lead role in the coordination and logistics of exhibitions, seminars, and events for the Food & Pharma business units.
- Manage event inventory, booking stands, and ensuring all promotional materials are prepared and delivered.
- Attend events where necessary to support the team and engage with potential customers.
- Content & Social Media Support
- Create engaging content and graphics for various social media channels to foster brand loyalty.
- Schedule posts and interact with followers to increase social engagement.
- Attend and film content for social channels and digital platforms.
- Assist in interviewing customers and writing reference stories.
- Distributor Support & Communication
- External Communications:
Support the communication of product launches, price updates, and promotions to our distributor network. - Internal Communications:
Assist in ensuring the sales team and wider business are kept up to date with marketing activities.
- External Communications:
- Product & Data Administration
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our instrumentation products to effectively communicate their value.
- Assist in the launch of new products, helping to coordinate both marketing and product dimensions.
- Help maintain accurate product data, ensuring all internal and external systems are up to date.
- Sales Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with the Sales team to ensure they have the marketing materials and lead data they need to succeed.
- Provide administrative support in lead management and help convert opportunities.
To be successful in our Marketing Assistant role, you must have a strong enthusiasm and upbeat personality due to working extremely closely with customers from all backgrounds and attending events to promote our brand. You should have a Marketing related qualification and ideally have some office based work experience.
