Padeswood CCS – Communications and Community Engagement Officer Proactive Communications Planning
- Develop and deliver the project communications plan.
- Prepare clear, accessible updates on construction activity and project progress.
- Produce and distribute AWNs outlining upcoming works, timings, and potential impacts.
- Plan and deliver community events, drop-ins and information sessions.
- Coordinate timely responses to community enquiries.
- Organise site visits for schools, partners and community stakeholders.
- Maintain and update the stakeholder database.
- Support liaison with local leaders, councillors, businesses and community organisations.
- Manage the community SMS/Whats App notification service for timely updates.
- Maintain and update the Padeswood CCS project website.
- Support the wider communications team with social media content and materials.
- Contribute to newsletters and project publications.
- Work with the Communications Director to plan and deliver high-profile milestone events and media opportunities.
- Act as the on-site contact during incidents or urgent communication needs.
- Support the development of urgent statements or updates.
- Monitor local social media activity relating to the development.
