Four hotels, one pub and a central marketing team bringing it all together.

Welcome to Watergate Bay Hotel, Sea Space and Another Place. We’re a collection of lifestyle hotels across some of the UK’s most inspiring locations, from the Cornish coast to the Lake District and the Isle of Islay.

Each has its own personality, design and sense of place, but we’re united by the same spirit: getting outside, being active, eating and drinking well, and really feeling where you are.

Now we’re looking for a creative, curious and digitally minded Social Media and Marketing Executive to help bring our brands, destinations and experiences to life through creative and engaging content.

This is a hands‑on, content‑first role for someone who lives and breathes social media.

Our Social Media and Marketing Executive role:

Working across all three brands and five properties, you’ll support the creation and delivery of engaging, on‑brand social content, as well as day‑to‑day community engagement across Instagram, Facebook, Linked In and Tik Tok. You’ll bring our brands to life through reels, short‑form video, photography and regular channel activity.

Working closely with our Group Brand and Creative Manager, you’ll assist in our overall social strategy and channel performance. Your focus will be on creating great content that drives genuine engagement.

At this stage, you won’t be responsible for setting social strategy, but over time you’ll develop the skills to report on channel performance and insights.

Alongside social, you’ll also provide day‑to‑day marketing and administrative support across tactical sales, content marketing and event campaigns.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Creating fresh, engaging content across our social channels, bringing our brands and destinations to life through hands‑on content capture and creation.
  • Planning, scheduling, capturing and editing content including at on‑site events, openings, and shoots.
  • Knowing our audience and staying close to the conversation through community engagement, social listening and audience insights.
  • Remaining fluent in brand and AI best‑practices, understanding our brands and using AI support marketing materials and outcomes.
  • Forecasting what’s next by keeping on top of trends, planning content and finding new ways to keep our channels fresh.
  • Keep things moving by supporting with the day‑to‑day marketing tasks and admin that keep the marketing team on track.
You’ll also:
  • Be predominantly office based with regular travel between our Cornish properties.
  • Visit our additional properties, with travel to Cumbria and Islay occasionally required and travel and accommodation costs covered.
  • Build sustainable relationships with the wider team, partners and third parties.
  • Work safely and responsibly, following all relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Act as an ambassador both online and in person, always representing our brands in the right way.
  • Be flexible when needed, with occasional weekend working and events outside of usual working hours.
What you’ll be sharing with us:
  • A genuine passion for social media, with a strong personal or professional track record of creating short‑form video content for Reels and Tik Tok.
  • Confident filming and editing content, and comfortable being both behind and occasionally in front of the camera.
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and Linked In, and how content and tone differ across each.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone of voice across three distinct brands.
  • Confident editing content using Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Rush/Pro (as standard, alternative programmes considered)
  • An eye for detail, creativity and strong organisational skills to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines.
  • A keen interest in photography, photography editing and filmmaking (Canva/Adobe Suite).
  • A collaborative, can‑do approach, and willingness to travel between properties and support occasional weekend event coverage.
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience creating social content within hospitality, travel, food and drink or a similar lifestyle sector
