We're looking for a Senior Internal Communications & Employee Wellbeing Manager, for a 12-month fixed term contract, to play a pivotal role in shaping employee engagement, culture and communication across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications & Employee Wellbeing, this role leads the development and delivery of strategic internal communications, wellbeing initiatives, diversity and inclusion campaigns, and sustainability engagement programmes that support business objectives and strengthen our One Vitality culture.
The position works closely with senior stakeholders across the business, influencing at all levels and delivering impactful communications and engagement strategies for a global employee audience. Key Actions Lead the development and delivery of strategic internal communications and engagement campaigns across wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability initiatives Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to create compelling communications that connect employees to organisational priorities and cultural objectives Own and drive the organisation's wellbeing communications strategy across financial, mental, physical, lifestyle and social wellbeing pillars Lead the development and execution of global employee engagement campaigns, ensuring strong employee participation and measurable outcomes Oversee the Diversity & Inclusion communications and engagement strategy, delivering inclusive campaigns aligned to broader organisational objectives Partner with sustainability leaders to deliver engaging communications that increase employee understanding and participation in environmental initiatives Provide expert communications counsel to leaders and subject matter experts, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, on-brand and audience-focused Manage large-scale employee programmes and campaigns from concept through to delivery, including communications planning, stakeholder engagement and performance evaluation Oversee the creation, governance and continuous improvement of internal communication channels, content hubs and employee communications platforms Act as Editor for internal publications and employee communications, ensuring high-quality content, strong storytelling and alignment with strategic priorities Manage agency, supplier and partner relationships, ensuring maximum value, budget control and successful campaign delivery Lead, coach and develop the Internal Communications & Events Executive, providing direction, support and quality oversight across team deliverables Lead engagement and communications activity across multiple locations, with flexibility to travel occasionally to support stakeholder engagement, events and business initiatives What do you need to thrive?
Degree level qualification or equivalent experience Significant experience delivering internal communications, employee engagement or corporate communications strategies Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional campaigns and business-wide initiatives Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills Strong stakeholder management experience, including influencing senior leaders Demonstrated success delivering wellbeing, engagement or culture-based programmes Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Experience managing external agencies, suppliers and business partners Strong understanding of digital communication channels and employee engagement platforms Ability to work autonomously, make informed decisions and deliver results in a fast-paced environment So, whats in it for you?
