Description of Job

We are looking for a highly relational and pioneering individual with a passion for Jesus and the gospel, showing strong leadership and communication skills and a heart for Church revitalisation, to join us on this adventure to lead The Ascension Westdene as the Associate Pastor.

Initially the role holder will be placed at All Saints Patcham to gather and equip a team from across the Parish of All Saints, Patcham and the St. Peter’s Brighton Family of Churches to go to Westdene for an exciting new chapter, repositioning it for mission in the community and reimagining church for the unchurched and dechurched in the community.

This is a non-ordained post, with a requirement to be held by an Anglican or someone willing to be received into the Anglican church, with leadership experience and theological training.
