Trusts & Grants Officer
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid Working - approximately 2 days per week in the office)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 31,817 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent)

Our client is a well-established charitable organisation making a significant impact across communities throughout the Midlands. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Trusts & Grants Officer to join their fundraising team and play a key role in securing income from trusts, foundations and statutory funders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of trust, foundation and grant funders
Writing high-quality funding applications, proposals and reports
Building and maintaining strong relationships with funders and stakeholders
Supporting the management and monitoring of restricted funding budgets
Ensuring compliance with grant agreements and funding requirements
Coordinating evaluation activities and collecting evidence for impact reporting
Identifying and researching new funding opportunities
Maintaining a rolling pipeline of prospective funders and grant opportunities
Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop fundable projects and initiatives
Managing reporting schedules and ensuring all deadlines are met
Producing accurate income forecasts and pipeline reports
Gathering impact data, case studies and success stories to strengthen funding applications
Maintaining accurate records and funding documentation
You Will Ideally Have:
- Proven experience securing income from trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies
Experience writing successful funding applications and impact reports
Strong prospect research and pipeline development skills
Excellent written communication and relationship-building abilities
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Confidence working with budgets, financial information and impact data
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and database systems
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
