Position

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Staff Nurse based at Brooksby Day Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Work as a Staff Nurse District Nursing within North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership, requiring experience as a qualified registered nurse and be responsible for assessment of care needs and development, implementation and evaluation of nursing programmes of care for a variety of client groups within the community.
  • Manage the caseload in the absence of the district nursing Charge Nurse, including supervision and redeployment of staff.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Professional qualification in nursing essential.
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative, and be a lone worker within a variety of settings within the community.
  • Should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
Hours & Shift Pattern

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a weekend commitment. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

Driving Licence

A UK car driver/driving licence is essential for this role.
