The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) is a leading 1,200‑bed teaching hospital in Norwich.

• Work with the Ward/Department clinical team in a multidisciplinary framework.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse.
• Adhere to the principles set out by the NMC and Trust Policies.

• Support the delivery of safe, compassionate healthcare services.

• Experience working in an acute hospital within the last 12 months as an NMC registrant.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Ability to work a minimum of 12–24 hours per month.

• Paid supernumerary clinical time (amount dependent on area of work and previous experience).
• Clinical skills support and enhanced skills sessions where required.
• Flexible training and shift patterns.
• Opportunity to work across various specialities.

• RN or RNA in an acute hospital environment within the last 12 months as an NMC registrant.

• Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register or Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
• Completion of a preceptorship programme or significant demonstrable experience.

• Time‑management skills and ability to prioritise.
• Effective role model demonstrating NNUH’s PRIDE values.
