About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for self‑motivated enthusiastic nurses to work within the Wester Ross Integrated Health and Social Care Team, District Nursing Service, in Gairloch.
The post will allow you to further develop your interest and skills whilst working with this friendly and supportive team in an area of outstanding beauty.
You will provide an innovative community nursing service for people in close collaboration with their family, carers, and colleagues working as part of an integrated health and social care team.
You should have a sound knowledge of clinical skills relevant to community nursing, experience of managing long term conditions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team.
There is an on‑call commitment for planned unscheduled care of patients.
A full driving licence is essential and a pool car may be available for work purposes, but on occasions use of own vehicle will be required.
Key InformationEffective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
