Clinical Team Leader Out of Hours District Nursing, based at Lister Centre, University Hospital Crosshouse. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Hours36 hours per week.
UK Driving LicenceA UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What You Will DoYou will be responsible for the operational management of the community nursing team including the professional and clinical supervision and deployment of staff within the Out of Hours Service covering pan Ayrshire. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative and as a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community.
You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Post-graduate qualification in District Nursing or equivalent
- Post registration experience of working with patients who have complex care requirements
- Robust staff management
- Experience of working within a community setting
- Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to people with complex care requirements
- Demonstrates strong work ethic and leadership
- Management of wide range of clinical interventions including tracheostomy, supra pubic catheter
- Able to develop, plan, implement and monitor robust care plans
