An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse based at Girvan Community Hospital
. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
28.08 hours per week across 7 days working and unsocial for hours cover where required to meet the needs of the service. Job share will be considered for this post. From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full‑time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part‑time staff) without loss of earnings.
WhatYou Will Do
Act as a Named Nurse responsible for assessment, development and implementation of patient care need, regularly re‑evaluating to ensure a high quality of care to patients. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the absence of Ward Manager, providing cover to ensure smooth running of all departmental areas.
Knowledge, Training and/or Experience Required For This PostPost holder will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
