Position: LJR251370 - Community Nurse
Location: Inverbervie

A position has arisen for a Band 5 Community Nurse within the K&M District Nursing Team – primary base will be Inverbervie.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled registered nurse to join our dynamic community healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to patients within the community, helping them to manage long‑term conditions, recover from illness, and live independently in their own homes. As a community nurse you will work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team, ensuring patients receive the best possible care in the comfort of their own environment.

What

you will be doing:
  • Delivering a range of nursing interventions, including wound care, chronic disease management, medication administration and palliative care.
  • Care Planning:
    Working alongside the DN/Senior Community Nurse to develop, implement and review care plans for patients.
  • Multidisciplinary

    Collaboration:

    Working as part of a team with doctors, care managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, patient‑focused care.
  • Clinical

    Skills:

    Undertaking clinical tasks such as injections, dressings, and monitoring of vital signs.
Qualifications and requirements:
  • a registered nurse with a current NMC registration
  • a genuine passion for providing care in the community setting and supporting patients to live independently
  • strong clinical skills, particularly in wound care, medication administration, and palliative care
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with patients, families, and team members
  • ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
  • full driving licence and own car
