PositionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse based at Girvan Community Hospital. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Hours24.48 hours per week across : 7 days working and unsocial for hours cover where required to meet the needs of the service. Job share will be considered for this post.
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
What You Will Do- To ensure the provision of effective, efficient and appropriate high-quality patient care.
- To assist the Team Leader in leading the nursing team, ensuring the development of staff.
- To share responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs and quality assurance.
- To promote evidence-based practice and act as an accountable role model.
- To act in accordance with the NMC Code.
Post holder will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.

It is essential that you have checked that you either already have an appropriate right to work in the UK or that the post would be eligible to be sponsored before submitting your application form.
