An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse based at Girvan Community Hospital. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

24.48 hours per week across : 7 days working and unsocial for hours cover where required to meet the needs of the service. Job share will be considered for this post.

From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.

• To ensure the provision of effective, efficient and appropriate high-quality patient care.
• To assist the Team Leader in leading the nursing team, ensuring the development of staff.
• To share responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs and quality assurance.
• To promote evidence-based practice and act as an accountable role model.
• To act in accordance with the NMC Code.

Post holder will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.

UK driving licence: A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
