We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Drake Hall, a women's closed prison located near Eccleshall in Staffordshire with around 340 female inmates.

This role enables you to deliver high-quality care in a secure environment, working within a multi‑disciplinary team to prevent hospital admissions and improve patient outcomes.

• Monday – Friday: 7:15 am – 5:15 pm
• Weekends: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
• Every other weekend
• 4‑week rolling rota

This is a full‑time position with an annual salary ranging from £34,428 to £41,659, depending on experience.

Legal right to work in the UK is required. Due to the nature of the role, all offers are subject to additional vetting and security checks.

• Work within a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver a nurse‑led service and prevent hospital admissions
• Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and conduct reception screening
• Deliver nurse‑led clinics to your patient group with support from the multi‑disciplinary team
• Provide evidence‑based care, listening to and acting on patient feedback to personalise care
• Deliver non‑judgemental care that makes a real difference
• Forge strong links with partners and stakeholders to inspire excellence
• Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence‑based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding shared learning
• Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care and build strong multi‑disciplinary teams

• Registered nurse – Adult, NMC
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development

Although not essential, experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment is highly regarded.
