Outpatient Nurse

Overview

Outpatient Nurse role based in Reading, offering up to £41,300 per year. Full-time position in a respected private outpatient clinic with exposure across multiple specialties and clear opportunities for career progression.

• Support consultants during outpatient clinics across specialties, including Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Coloproctology.
• Carry out nurse-led Urology and ENT procedures such as bladder instillations, wound care, skin prick testing, and patient education; assist consultants with minor procedures.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to CQC and clinic policies.
• Provide a calm, empathetic presence for patients and support a smooth patient experience in a busy outpatient department.
• Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

• NMC registered with post-registration experience in outpatients or a related clinical setting; training provided for the right candidate.
• Organised, flexible and confident working across multiple specialties.
