An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen for a professional and compassionate qualified nurse to join the established nursing team within the Women's Centre at Crawley Hospital as a Staff Nurse (Band
5); to care for patients referred for colposcopy and outpatient hysteroscopy, general gynaecology clinic.
This is an important role within a small motivated team, contributing to the effectiveness of the unit as a whole. The role involves preparing the clinic environment, supporting the patient at all stages of their outpatient procedure and assisting the colposcopist/hysteroscopist and general gynaecology clinics.
Suitable applicants will possess excellent communication skills as there is liaison with patients, medical staff and other departments. Evidence of personal development, supervisory skills and computer literacy is required. An approachable and flexible attitude is desirable, as is the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently at times.
