Location: Craignure

We are looking for an experienced band 5 nurse to join our team at Mull and Iona Community Hospital.

This is a permanent 25 hour post.

The post holder must have general ward experience and relevant experience in working within A&E department in a rural setting is desirable. The hospital serves the community of the Isle of Mull and Iona. There are 3 GP Acute inpatient beds and includes the provision of end of life care. There is also a community casualty department for all emergencies as well as minor injuries and the hospital is the centre for out of hours care referred through NHS
24. The post holder must be competent in triage and assessment. We are a small team of nurses and Health care assistants and as Nurse on duty you will be working as a lone worker in charge of the clinical shift, supported by a HCSW and the GP on duty.

Due to rural location and limited public transport a UK driving license would be essential.
