Role Overview

The RN Nurse Manager oversees a clinical unit, providing leadership in patient care, staff management, and operational efficiency.

• Lead and manage staff through shared governance, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements using data and technology for decision-making.
• Promote staff development, competency, and professional growth while supporting effective recruitment and retention.
• Manage resources, including staffing, budgets, and materials, employing quality improvement tools to optimize performance.
• Build collaborative relationships with physicians, staff, and departments to enhance teamwork and communication.
• Advance evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvements within the unit.
• Uphold professional nursing standards, ethics, and compliance, serving as a role model in clinical practice and leadership.
• Create a positive work environment that fosters trust, engagement, and accountability.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare financing, regulatory standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to employ change management strategies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
