Lead Nurse – Unity Healthcare

We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Lead Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality patient care whilst leading and supporting our dedicated primary care nursing team.

• You will lead, manage and deliver a range of practice nursing services and be accountable for the nursing team on a day-to‑day basis
• You’ll foster a learning environment, supporting the training and development of the nursing team
• You’ll lead on ensuring the nursing services are compliant with CQC and other regulatory authority’s requirements
• You’ll champion and lead quality improvement initiatives within the nursing service

The Unity Practice is run by Suffolk GP Federation CIC, a not‑for‑profit community interest company.

This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday based across the Unity sites:
Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford. Travel between sites will be necessary.

• You’ll need to be a registered nurse, with valid NMC registration and evidence of up‑date practice
• You’ll need proven experience of working in primary care
• You will need experience in managing a team.
