  • Ensure policies and procedures are implemented effectively and consistently.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care, infection prevention and control, health and safety and safeguarding.
  • Identify and manage risks appropriately, escalating concerns where required.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, relatives, colleagues and external professionals to build positive relationships.
  • Act as a positive role model, helping to establish the culture and standards of our brand-new home.
What we're looking for:
  • An experienced and passionate nurse who is ready to take the next step in their clinical leadership career and play an important role in establishing a new service
  • A recognised nursing qualification and valid NMC registration.
  • Experience providing clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to recognise and respond to changes in residents’ health.

  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
  • A positive and approachable manner, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
  • A commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and customer service.
  • The ability to work proactively, use your own initiative and adapt to the demands of a new and evolving service.
  • An NVQ/Level 5 qualification in Leadership for Adult Care, or a willingness to work towards this.
What we offer:
  • A supportive and values-driven organisation committed to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunities for professional development and ongoing career progression.
  • The chance to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of individuals and their families.
  • A collaborative working environment where leadership and innovation are encouraged.
