Endoscopy Nurse – NHS Insourcing

Shifts:
Weekend sessions
Pay: £325.00
Endoscopy Nurses Wanted – Sirona Medical is currently recruiting experienced Endoscopy Nurses to support an established NHS in sourcing service at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Endoscopy Nurses looking to undertake additional shifts within a hospital environment while supporting the delivery of essential patient services and helping to reduce NHS waiting lists.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure care.
Support consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team during endoscopy sessions.
Maintain high standards of infection prevention, patient safety and clinical care.
Ensure accurate completion of clinical documentation.
Work collaboratively with the in sourcing team to ensure efficient patient pathways.
Essential Requirements
Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
Previous experience working within an Endoscopy department.
Competence in assisting with gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
Knowledge of infection prevention and endoscopy safety procedures.
Ability to work confidently within a busy clinical environment.
Relevant mandatory training and compliance documentation.
