Elite Search Associates are recruiting a Clinical Lead to lead a new 10-bed ward within a mental health hospital, supporting women with complex mental health needs.
This is an opportunity to join an established and growing provider of care for adults with complex mental health needs and help shape a new service from the outset.
Reporting directly to the Hospital Director, you will lead the ward's staff team and oversee the delivery of safe, person-centred care. Your working week will combine time on the floor, supporting patients and colleagues, with dedicated time for administration and clinical leadership responsibilities.
The role- Lead the day-to-day running of the 10-bed ward.
- Support, supervise and develop the staff team.
- Provide visible clinical leadership and promote high standards of care.
- Oversee care planning, risk management and clinical documentation.
- Work closely with the Hospital Director and wider multidisciplinary team.
- Help establish a positive, supportive culture within the new ward.
You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration and some experience of leading staff teams. You will bring sound clinical judgement, strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to supporting women with complex mental health needs.
This would suit an experienced RMN ready to take the next step into clinical leadership, or an existing Clinical Lead looking for the opportunity to develop a new ward.
