3 months temporary to permanent
Role Purpose
We are recruiting Grounds Maintenance Operatives to deliver a wide range of outdoor maintenance tasks, ensuring sites remain safe, clean, and well presented throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

* Grass cutting, strimming, edging, and hedge trimming

* Litter picking, leaf clearance, and general site tidiness

* Shrub, hedge, and flowerbed maintenance

* Weed control using manual or chemical methods (subject to qualifications)

* Assisting with the use of grounds maintenance machinery and tools

* Following daily work schedules and meeting performance targets

* Supporting seasonal duties such as planting and winter gritting

* Adhering to health & safety procedures and wearing PPE at all times
Essential Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in grounds maintenance or outdoor labour roles

* Ability to use common grounds equipment (strimmers, blowers, hedge cutters)

* Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

* Full UK driving licence
Desirable

* LANTRA or NVQ qualifications in horticulture or grounds maintenance

* PA1 / PA6 spraying certification

* Experience operating ride-on mowers
