We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Keeper to join our team at Greenville ISD Facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and safety of our outdoor spaces, ensuring that our facilities always look their best.

• Maintain and improve the grounds of our facility, including landscaping tasks, such as mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking among others.
• Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on the lawn care equipment and tools.
• Inspect the grounds and remove any hazards.
• Ensure the grounds are free of litter and debris.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety policies.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all outdoor aspects are well coordinated with the indoor maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proven experience as a groundskeeper or similar role.
• Knowledge of general landscaping and grounds keeping practices.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Certifications related to grounds keeping, landscaping, or maintenance are a plus.
