Grounds Maintenance Operative Needed

Location: Swindon

Hours: Monday to Thursday – 7:00am to 3:30pm
Friday – 7:00am to 12:00pm

Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

We are currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative
. It is essential that our grounds and public spaces are maintained to the highest possible standard. These positions are ideal for individuals who take pride in outdoor work and have a proactive approach to maintaining green spaces.

• Assist with general grounds maintenance, including mowing, strimming, weeding, and planting.
• Ensure public areas, parks, and green spaces are kept clean, tidy, and well-presented.
• Operate basic grounds maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily and weekly maintenance targets.

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks in a variety of weather conditions.
• A reliable and punctual work ethic.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
• Must be over 25 years old due to insurance.
• Must have UK Driving licence.
