Animal Section Support Keeper

Overview

Noah's Ark Zoo Farm is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working individual to join our Animal Section Support Team, you will be working across all the zoo on all six animal sections. This is a complex and rewarding role as such we expect applicants to have knowledge and practical experience of an array of animals. A strong work ethic, good team working and communication skills and the ability to maintain high levels of hygiene are important to the role.

• To support animal sections with full keeping duties. This includes providing support on days when staffing is low as well as supporting teams to fulfil their collective goals.
• Deliver encounters and experiences to our visitors.
• Drive the company vehicle for collection of resources, e.g., feed and veterinary supplies.

• A constructive and professional approach that strengthens team culture.
• Have previous keeping experience (2 years minimum ideally).
• To be familiar with the care required for a variety of species.
• Be highly motivated.
• Have high standards of hygiene when working.
• Have a full, manual driving licence.

This is a full‑time position working a 40‑hour week on a flexible rota (including weekends and bank holidays).
