An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internship in Forestry and Woodland Management with Carsphairn Community Woodland Ltd
.

Carsphairn Community Woodland manages a 49-hectare mixed woodland
, Muirdrochwood Forest, on behalf of the Carsphairn community. The woodland is located in the beautiful Galloway Hills of the Glenkens, South West Scotland
, and supports sustainable forestry, community access, and local engagement.

This internship offers a practical introduction to community forestry and woodland management within a supportive, real-world working environment.

The internship is supported through Cat Strand’s Cultural Glenkens Programme
, made possible by support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund
.
