Job Overview
This is a one day a week voluntary position lasting 6 months working from 8am until 5pm (winter hours may vary). Species and breeds held on section:
Giraffe, Zebra, Rhea, Southern White Rhino.
- Assisting with daily cleaning
- Preparation of feeds
- Creating enrichment
- Collecting and providing browse
- Assisting with routine husbandry tasks such as foot trimming and carrying out routine health checks.
Motivated individual with a keen interest in animal husbandry and conservation. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate that they are team oriented, hardworking, proactive and positive in their attitude to all tasks.
